My name is Ruslan Tashibaev. Together with my wife Bayansulu we are raising three children: Emir (17), Kairat (14), and Saadat (9). In 1993 the Lord wonderfully saved me in Bishkek, and since that day my whole life has been devoted to serving Him.

Today I serve as pastor of a church in the capital of Kyrgyzstan and as Chairman of the Evangelical Alliance of Kyrgyzstan. I also assist the president of the Bible Society of Kyrgyzstan. These are interdenominational platforms where I serve on a fully voluntary basis to help Christianity grow and mature among the Kyrgyz people.

Our church consists mostly of first-generation believers from a Muslim background — former Muslims who have come to faith in Jesus. We continue planting house groups and new churches in the regions because the Gospel is bearing fruit and hearts are opening, even in the face of strong opposition from relatives and sometimes from the authorities.

My wife Bayansulu is a gifted cellist. As part of our ministry she has opened a children’s music school that reaches many children and their parents — a number of families have come to Christ through this outreach.

National Kyrgyz churches are still young and relatively small, and most of them are not yet able to fully support their pastors and church planters. That is why I am looking for ministry partners who will stand with us in this strategic season.

Your prayer and financial partnership will enable me to:

- give full time to pastoring, discipling, and raising up the next generation of Kyrgyz Christian leaders,
- lead the work of the Evangelical Alliance and Bible distribution projects across the country,
- help new churches and house groups in the regions become established and sustainable,
- strengthen second-generation believers so they can stand firm under cultural and family pressure.

We love the Lord with all our hearts and want to be as fruitful as possible for His Kingdom while the door for the Gospel among the Kyrgyz people is open wider than ever before.
