Project Title:

House of Healing: Support and Rehabilitation for Ukrainian Soldiers' Families

Project Description:

The House of Healing initiative aims to support the families of Ukrainian soldiers by offering comprehensive psychological, spiritual, and physical support. This project provides a respite from daily hardships and helps participants regain vitality through therapy, recreation, and community support.

Project Goal:

  • Strengthen synergy between church and charitable organizations in Ukraine and Poland.
  • Raise awareness of the benefits of rehabilitation and recreation.
  • Develop volunteerism within church and local communities in Krakow.
  • Expand the support network for military families.

Target Group:

100 adult members of Ukrainian soldiers' families with children coming in groups of 20-25

Project duration:

10-12 months

Expected Outcomes:

  • Improvement of the psychological, spiritual and physical condition of participants.
  • Develop a support model that can be replicated with other teams in other regions of Ukraine.
  • Increase local community engagement in support activities for military families.

Simplified Project Budget (approximately $175 000):

  1. Accommodation and Meals:

  3. Therapies and Recreational Activities:
    • Cost: $30 000
  4. Staff and Administration:
    • Cost: $45 000
  5. Miscellaneous Expenses (insurance, materials, contingencies):

Conclusion:
